In this episode of The Horn Presents Road to the Race, J.J. Yeley tells Neil Farquharson about his recent successes during the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series. Including a 7th place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway in July. J.J. is currently driving the #15 Mustang that is serviced by Rick Ware Racing. Rick Ware Racing recently moved from Mooresville, NC to a shop in Concord, North Carolina. And that shop is on the campus of RFK Racing, with which the team began an alliance in 2023.
In this episode, J.J. gives commentaries to video footage of a crash he had in Pocono recently and compares it to a spectacular spin-out he had in the ConectUS car last October. He jokingly reminds Neil of the broadcast television coverage that spin received – and the fantastic exposure it gave the ConectUS Wireless logo.
J.J. continues by updating us on the modifications that will soon be made to the car that will give him an extra ten or so brake horsepower. J.J. is looking forward to October 15 when he will again drive the #15 ConectUS car at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
