We kicked off the fun with happy hour and dinner at the Marriott Hotel to give everyone the chance to meet one another and network.

On Wednesday morning, attendees arrived at the Lone Star Tower at Texas Motor Speedway and were greeted with a surprise. David Starr and Team Texas arranged for every attendee to be picked up in the ConectUS Stretch NASCAR and be transported to the Media Center for breakfast and breakout meetings.

Verizon executives and event sponsors all had the chance to lead speaking engagements about their solutions or different subjects within the technology industry, and after that, attendees ate lunch before heading over to the NASCAR Garage for the Technology Fair and instructions from Team Texas about driving their NASCARs.

NASCAR rides and drives along with Stretch NASCAR rides lasted for the next few hours, and every attendee got the chance to ride or drive in a real NASCAR at speeds of up to 150 miles per hour. Everyone had an outstanding time due to the hospitality and seamlessness of Team Texas.

However, the drives and rides around the track weren’t even the end of our event.

After driving NASCARs all afternoon, our partners ended the evening with dinner catered by Hard Eight BBQ in our penthouse at Lonestar Tower. This gave everyone a few hours at the end of the night to network with Verizon executives and business owners one final time before heading home, and this was the perfect ending to an outstanding two days in Fort Worth.

Rev-Up Your Revenue 2025 was a major success, and we can’t wait to host more events like this in the future. Partners from across the country enjoyed the endless networking opportunities, high-speed NASCAR thrills, and great company, and the results of this event for our partners have been overwhelmingly positive due to the connections they were able to build.

While ConectUS is eager for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we will also be participating in Fort Cavazos’ recruiting event at Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday. During this event, high schoolers from across the Dallas-Fort Worth area will learn about the professional racing industry, tour interactive exhibits, attend presentations from professionals in the US Army, and much more.
This event is designed for the US Army to talk with students about potentially joining, and the organizers have planned this day to be as enjoyable as possible. The Army is planning to land a Chinook helicopter there, plus they are bringing other military vehicles.

Team Texas Racing School is also joining in on the fun. Team Texas is bringing the ConectUS Car, and our Noah will be there to capture the excitement while also teaching anyone who may be interested in hearing about Cell Tower Technology. Our partnership with Team Texas continues to thrive, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

This gives us the chance to create new opportunities for our agents all the time rather than just for one weekend at a NASCAR race. Through this partnership, representatives from ConectUS Wireless, and possible partners, will be at all events with David, explaining the benefits of our agents’ services. These events stretch from race days at the Team Texas Racing School to speaking engagements nationwide with David. 2024 is the Year of the Agents and they always come first, and this partnership embodies that.

Away from the racing school, David often brings the ConectUS car with him to different events that he attends. At every event that David goes to, a representative from ConectUS Wireless is in attendance to explain what our agents’ services can do for them. These events often have small to medium-sized business owners in attendance and this partnership allows our agents’ services to be described in an informative manner to these business owners.

On Sunday night, Saint Bartholomew of Columbus, Indiana, hosted their annual fundraiser for their Friends of Haiti program. This year, the fundraiser was a March Madness Trivia Night to raise money for the Friends of Haiti’s ALFA Literacy program.

This program was created to help adults in Haiti learn to read and write, and this was the second year in a row that ConectUS sponsored Saint Bartholomew’s annual fundraiser. We were extremely excited to be on board this year as a Slam Dunk Sponsor, and ConectUS always likes getting involved with events that help those in need. By helping these adults, they will be able to help teach their children these valuable literacy skills while becoming more independent themselves.

This year, the event had a great turnout featuring prizes, trivia, and plenty of food and drinks. The March Madness theme was a hit after a Mardi Gras theme last year, and teams went all out with their uniforms for their teams. The silent auction was also a hit, as the items auctioned included gift baskets, gift cards, lottery tickets, and much more.

“We are so excited we had the opportunity to sponsor this event again this year,” ConectUS Wireless President and General Manager John Scully said. “We were happy to support this cause and we’re looking forward to seeing the impact that Saint Bartholomew continues to make in Haiti.”

Saint Bartholomew’s dedication to helping Haiti and everyone who lives there isn’t going unnoticed, and they work hard year-round to prepare for the various trips their team takes there. This is the fourth year that Saint Bartholomew has put on a fundraiser for the Friends of Haiti ALFA Literacy program, and this is the first year that it has been a March Madness theme. The ALFA Literacy program helps adults in Haiti learn to read and write, and ConectUS is looking forward to sponsoring this event for the second straight year.

“We are excited to be sponsoring this wonderful event for the second straight year,” ConectUS Wireless President and General Manager John Scully stated. “This is for a great cause and we can’t wait to see how Saint Bartholomew continues to help Haiti.”

Through this sponsorship, ConectUS Wireless will be helping adults learn to read all across Haiti. Through these adults learning to read, they can help teach their children to learn to read and write as well, while also becoming more independent.

Chris Schwartz is part of the fundraising committee for the Friends of Haiti at Saint Bartholomew, and she has taken five groups to Haiti herself. In an exclusive interview with ConectUS Wireless, Chris detailed the Friends of Haiti program at Saint Bartholomew and shared several amazing stories about how the ALFA Literacy program has changed lives in Limonade, Haiti.

“We want to level out this fundraising to reach everyone in our community and to spread the word about why literacy is so important,” Chris told ConectUS Wireless. “It’s a basic right of every human person and it makes a life-changing difference.”

One of Chris’ favorite parts about leading these trips to Haiti and helping teach adults literacy is the joy that they have when they write their names for the first time. She said that many people cry tears of joy when they write their names for the first time, and it is an extremely rewarding experience.

Chris is thankful for ConectUS Wireless’ generous donation, and we are looking forward to continuing this partnership in years to come.

We had the opportunity to talk to Greg Tiedeman and Karen Nguyen about the race and the impact it had on them, as well as Greg’s past experience as a competitive racer.

How long have you been a supporter of Children’s National? What experiences led up to you wanting to be a part of what Children’s National does?
Greg – My personal charitable focus has always been focused on helping children, so when ConectUS made the decision to get involved with Children’s National, I was super motivated to participate.
Karen – Rick, Neil, and I had the opportunity to learn more about Children’s National through NASCAR driver David Starr. David had told us exactly what Children’s National does and how he is involved in the organization.
We know that you had just represented in Children’s National’s 10th Annual ‘race for every child’ in Washington, D.C. How was that experience?
Greg – With a good deal of experience running competitively, yet one also very interested in the success of the charity event, I was very pleased with the level of organization for the race, as well as how the event focused on its primary purpose – raising money for the kids. Great job!
Karen – It was an amazing experience! This was my first time ever participating in a 5K, and it was truly such a wonderful experience being able to do it in the Nation’s Capital.
Tell us more about your experience with competitive racing. How has your past prepared you to run in this weekend’s race?
Greg – Simply knowing what to expect from the event and you nailed it. Great representation of the charity and great support by the local police force, making sure the runners were safe and the track was clearly laid out.
Have you participated in any races in support of another charity? How did that experience motivate you to race in support of Children’s National Hospital?
Greg – I have participated in many charity races over the years. What prepared me most was the cause – helping sick kids get better in order to live the life they deserve.
What is the importance of taking time out of your week to be able to attend an event in support of a good cause?
Greg – My belief in helping others, while humbly knowing I need to do more.
Do you think you will be wanting to attend more events like these in the future?
Karen – Absolutely! I have never experienced anything like this, but charity work is something that I am extremely fond and passionate about. I am looking forward to being able to donate my time to be able to make my mark in a cause.
